These Service Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") set forth the terms under which STORELO PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and operating under the brand name "Easy My Storage" (hereinafter referred to as "Company"), shall provide packing, moving, relocation and storage services to its customers (hereinafter referred to as "Customer").
By availing services from the Company, the Customer is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms, which may be amended by the Company from time to time without prior notice. The latest version shall be available on demand and shall be applicable to all ongoing and future services unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
DEFINITIONS
"Company" means STORELO PRIVATE LIMITED, providing storage, logistics and allied services under the brand name Easy My Storage.
"Customer/Consumer" means any individual, firm, company, or entity who avails services from the Company for storage and/or movement of goods.
"Goods" means the movable property or belongings that are handed over to the Company for packing, movement or storage.
1. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
Customer affirms that they are the lawful owner or have legal authority to possess, store or move the Goods and shall provide all necessary documentation to establish ownership and identity.
Customer agrees to indemnify the Company from all claims, liabilities, damages, or legal expenses arising from third-party disputes regarding the ownership, possession, or movement of the Goods.
2. STORAGE SERVICES
a. Storage Facility
Goods shall be stored at one or more storage facilities operated or arranged by the Company. The exact location shall be at the discretion of the Company.
b. Discretionary Storage
Company may break down pallets or repackage Goods for optimized storage at Customer's expense.
c. Additional Handling Charges
Any services not included in the storage agreement shall be invoiced separately.
d. Termination by Company
Company may terminate the agreement with 15 days' written notice. Goods must be cleared upon full payment of dues. Remaining advance, if any, shall be refunded after deductions.
Company retains the right to deny logistics or storage services at its sole discretion.
3. MOVEMENT & PACKING SERVICES
a. External Factors
Delays due to natural calamities, traffic restrictions, strikes, or third-party vehicle availability are beyond Company's control and liability.
b. Vehicle Type
Type of vehicle used for movement is subject to third-party logistics availability.
c. Service Cancellations
Services may be cancelled by the Company due to non-availability of manpower, vehicles, or unforeseen circumstances. The Company will not be liable for any inconvenience or loss caused.
d. Vehicle Storage
Fuel requirements:
- Four-wheelers: Minimal fuel for loading/unloading
- Two-wheelers: Fuel tank must be emptied
RC and valid insurance must be provided. Claims are limited to external damages only.
4. EARLY TERMINATION BY CUSTOMER
If Customer cancels before the tenure:
- Storage charges for the unused period are non-refundable
- Security deposit refundable post-deduction (if any)
- 15 days written notice is required
- If a commercial registration is done at the premises, refunds shall be processed only after cancellation proof and TDS certificates are submitted
If booking is cancelled:
- Token amount is non-refundable
- Full logistics charges refundable only if cancelled 48 hours before pickup
- 50% charges applicable if cancelled after team arrival
5. CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS
- Goods must be fit for transport and storage
- No hazardous or dangerous materials unless declared and approved
- Provide all documentation and information for safety and legal compliance
- Declare value of high-value items (>₹3500 per item per box). Undeclared items not covered under claims
- Complete KYC (PAN, Aadhaar/Passport) and Self-Declaration before pickup
- Goods must be packed in designated boxes; unpacked/loose goods not covered for damages
- Fridge to be emptied and defrosted 24 hours prior
- Customer to ensure free access, society permissions, elevators, and parking availability
- Distance >100 meters from lift to loading may incur extra charges
6. TRANSIT RISK COVERAGE
- Mandatory for intercity/intracity movements
- Premium: 3% + GST on declared value
- Without transit risk coverage, the Company holds no liability
- Customers can opt for personal insurance and provide documentation to the Company
7. PAYMENT TERMS
- Charges based on actual list at pickup day
- Storage charges and 15 days refundable deposit payable in advance
- Recurring storage charges due within 10 days of invoice
- Late fee: 200 Per Day till the payment is made in full
- Legal recovery costs borne by Customer
- Logistics charges to be paid 24 hours before pickup
- If payment not received within 30 minutes of pickup, vehicle shall return and order will be cancelled
- Mandatory Labour Union charges which are applicable at Mumbai or any other location will be billed as actual or can be paid to the Labour Union directly.
- Any fees /permissions required to extend EASY MY STORAGE services at client's location like society tax, society permission, Society parking fees etc. will be borne by client
Storage Escalation:
10% escalation every 11 months
GSTIN:
Must be provided before invoice. No post-invoice changes.
Insurance:
- Free up to ₹1,00,000 for fire/theft for standard household goods (excluding electronics, high-value items)
- Additional insurance needed for goods above ₹1,00,000
- Company acts as facilitator only, insurance must be directly purchased
8. EXCLUDED SERVICES (chargeable separately)
- Electricians, plumbers, carpenters
- Working beyond business hours
- Handling oversized items
- Stairs handling charges
- Labour for additional days if work not completed in time
9. LIEN RIGHTS
Company shall have a lien on all Goods stored for unpaid dues. If unpaid for 60 days, Company may sell the Goods and recover dues and legal charges.
10. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
- Liability capped at ₹100 per box/item unless insurance taken
- Not liable for damages caused by acts of God, riots, strikes, weather, public authorities, mechanical failures, etc.
Not liable for:
- Fragile item breakage
- Theft unless due to proven negligence
- Damage caused during packing or transit
- Loss of documents, artwork, jewelry, electronics unless declared
- Consequential or indirect damages
- Temperature or humidity damage
Repair Claims:
Company may, at its discretion, repair damages up to ₹10,000 via its authorized vendors. No customer reimbursement or replacements allowed.
11. WAREHOUSE VISITS
a. Warehouse Visit Charges
₹500 per visit (inspection or access). Must be scheduled in advance and subject to availability.
b. Labour Assistance During Visit
₹500 per labour per visit if loading/unloading or movement is required.
12. INSPECTION & SECURITY
Customer may visit warehouse with 2 days prior notice. Visits permitted during operational hours only.
13. NOMINEE
Customer shall appoint a nominee. If unreachable, Company will act on nominee's written instruction for storage, movement or disposal of Goods.
14. NOTICES
All notices to be sent to the registered addresses of Company and Customer via any reliable method that provides delivery receipt.
15. LEGAL GOVERNANCE
Subject to Indian law. Jurisdiction: Courts in Noida.
16. SEVERABILITY & HEADINGS
Invalidity of any part shall not affect enforceability of the rest. Headings are only for reference.
17. PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following are strictly prohibited from being stored:
- Liquids, alcohol, drugs
- Arms/ammunition, fireworks
- Flammable substances, gasoline
- Perishable goods, plants, food
- Odorous items, animal remains
- Paints, solvents, chemicals
- Jewelry, precious stones/metals
- Antiques, artwork, cash, documents
Company reserves right to dispose of such goods and alert authorities without prior notice.
18. THIRD-PARTY LOGISTICS & CUSTOMER-ARRANGED TRANSPORT
Packing and movement may be carried out by independent third parties. Company is not liable for any damage, loss or breakage during these activities.
If Customer arranges own logistics, all damage/loss risk lies with Customer. Goods shall be accepted on a "Said to Contain" basis, and Company shall not verify or assume liability for contents or condition.
19. INSURANCE CLAIMS
Claims must be raised with the insurer. Company shall assist but has no liability in settlement. Customer must provide all required documents for claims.
By using Easy My Storage services, the Customer affirms to have read, understood, and agreed to all the above terms and conditions.
1. Booking Details and Modifications
a) Quotation and Changes:
The provided quotation is based on the details shared by the customer, including material list, movement date, and distance.
In case of any deviations in the material list, movement date, or distance, a revised quotation will be offered accordingly.
For revised quotations, customers must contact Easy My Storage support directly.
b) Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation request prior to the scheduled pickup, the booking amount will not be refunded.
If the service is cancelled after the scheduled pickup date, no refund will be issued for any payments made.
2. Packing Material
Easy My Storage reserves the right to collect all packing material after the shifting is complete.
If you wish to retain any packing boxes, charges apply: ₹80 per carton box and ₹400 per plastic box.
3. Price and Taxes
The quoted price includes applicable taxes.
Prices are subject to change based on slot availability at the time of any modification.
4. Warehousing
Warehousing can be provided at ₹400/day, subject to availability.
5. Payment Guidelines
Within City & Outstation Orders:
Full remaining payment is to be made to the assigned Partner at the destination after completion.
Intercity Orders:
90% of the balance (after booking) must be paid at the time of packing/loading at pickup location.
Remaining 10% must be paid at the destination before unloading on delivery day.
6. Goods and Items
Packaging:
Electronic items, fragile goods, and furniture must be packed using multi-layer packaging for protection.
Customers are strongly advised to opt for this.
Refrigerators:
Must be defrosted 24 hours in advance to prevent leakage.
Restricted Items:
Movement of the following items is strictly prohibited: jewellery, arms/ammunition, explosives, chemicals, battery acids, flammable liquids (diesel, petrol, kerosene, etc.), narcotics, and counterfeit goods.
Customers must retain valuables such as cash and jewellery with themselves.
Technical Assistance:
If appliances require specialized assistance for locking/unlocking, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange it through the manufacturer or authorized service provider.
7. AC Services
Charges include only service; materials (pipes, gas, wires, etc.) are extra and borne by the customer.
Easy My Storage is not responsible for copper pipe damage during assembly/dismantling.
8. Vehicle Movement
Fuel tanks of two-wheelers/four-wheelers must be emptied completely before transport.
Do not hand over accessories like helmets or jackets with the vehicle. Claims for such items will not be entertained.
RC, insurance, and pollution certificate copies are mandatory for two-wheeler transport.
9. Important Notes
Delays and Entry Restrictions:
Delays may occur due to city entry restrictions, festivals, or high-demand periods.
Check with your society for shifting permissions or timing restrictions. All necessary permissions from RWA must be taken in advance.
Rope Transfers:
If rope-based transfer is needed, it will be at the customer's risk and decision. Easy My Storage will not be liable for any resulting damage.
10. Damages and Claims
Besides our best efforts, damages may happen to the consignment due to the geographical terrain of the country. So, we always try to elaborate our clients on the risk coverage booking of EASY MY STORAGE and recommend them to pay risk coverage cheque for their consignment.
Transit Risk Coverage is arranged for HHG @ 3.00% and for Car @ 1.50% of the total declared value.
Client must record proper value in the Inventory Sheet. The Inventory sheet will be treated as a final document in claim settlement, if any.
In case of minor and repairable damages, the client needs to initially give a claim letter and quotes for repair estimates from an authorized vendor to process the risk coverage claim.
Any claim should be intimated and lodged within 48 hours of delivery of the goods. In case of Car/Bike, claim should be intimated and lodged within 12 hours.
In case risk coverage is not opted for, then a declaration form needs to be signed by you. In such a case all items of the consignment including Car/Bike will be transported at owner's risk for which no claim will be entertained at a later stage.
The carrier or its agent shall be exempted from any loss or damage through accident/pilferage, fire/rain/collision/any other road or river hazard, we therefore recommend that goods should be covered under carrier risk by paying additional charges as FOV. No individual policy/receipt from insurance co. will be given. EASY MY STORAGE will only issue GCN under Carrier Risk, (Section 11, Carriage by Road Act, 2007).
In case of Car/Bike or other articles only exterior damages will be entertained, no claim will be paid for any internal or mechanical fault.
Marketing phrases like "100% Damage-Free Shifting" refer to our service track record, not a damage-free guarantee.
11. Disputes and Modifications
Disputes for services not listed in the final quote or not communicated to our support team will not be entertained.
Always ensure your quote is updated after any change request.
12. Vehicle Type and Delivery Time
Vehicle type depends on partner availability.
Intercity delivery time varies by route and service type (Full Truck Load vs. Part Truck Load). A deviation of up to 3 days is possible.
